THE LATEST COMEDY double act to hit the screens has taken the nation by storm with "Two Eds Are Better Than One" blowing away audiences in Liverpool.
Playing to rapturous applause from an admittedly partisan audience, Ed Miliband, the tall, ahem, good looking one without glasses joshes and banters with his straight man, the short one with hairy legs and a suspect hairpiece, Ed Balls.
Most of the comedy comes from the pair's promises to repair the United Kingdom by fixing the mistakes made by the current comedy duo, Dave and Nick.
"We're going to make some hilarious U-turns," said Ed. "And we're going to borrow billions of pounds," giggled Ed. "It'll all be great family entertainment. We'll find ourselves up shit creeks without paddles, hanging from vertiginous precipes and we'll plunge the country into a rib-cracking series of strikes, food shortages and power cuts."
The BBC are bracing themselves for complaints that it's just another series of repeats.
